Members of the Churdan United Methodist Church will serve their 30th anniversary roast beef dinner next Sunday, March 30, with serving from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the church. Pictured are John Hunt and Joyce Clark after they updated the church’s sign with dinner info.
The menu hasn’t changed since the first dinner in the spring of 1984. The meal is a traditional Sunday dinner, just like Mom used to make, with roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn home grown in Greene County, homemade salad and homemade desserts, including pie. There’s even home grown horseradish for those who want to jazz up the roast beef.
Carry outs will be available by calling 515-389-3181. Tickets will be available at the door.
